Soldiers killed in action are not martyrs. ‘Martyr’ has religious over:   A martyr seeks to die. Soldiers want to live, their commitment to the cause they’re fighting for and their determination to prevail is even greater I have a problem with calling soldiers killed in action martyrs. I know it’s meant as respect and I’m well aware it’s intended as an honour, but that still doesn’t address my key concern which is that the term is singularly inappropriate. I’m not sure I can convince you but I’d like you to think carefully about my argument. How long will our martyrs be martyred and we will continue to dominate them?

Under this scheme, girl students of Zilla Parishad schools will get sanitary napkins at 5 rupees per packet whereas women in rural areas will be available at the rate of 24 and 29 rupees per packet. PNB Fraud: Highlights Of  R s.  11,300 Crore Case Involving Nirav Modi PNB Rs 11,300 crore fraud has allegedly been perpetrated by PNB staffers Gokulnath Shetty and Manoj Kharat. They are suspected of steering fraudulent loans to companies linked to billionaire jeweller Nirav Modi and entities tied to jewellery retailer Gitanjali, which is led by Modi's uncle, Mehul Choksi. When the banking sector is busy counting its losses in one of the most gigantic banking frauds, the law enforcement agencies, CBI and ED, have raided properties linked to diamantaire Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi's Gitanjali Jewels. The CBI has already arrested three persons, including the 2 PNB staffers, who have been sent to the judicial custody till March 3. The ED raided dozens of Nirav Modi's premises and seized diamonds, gold and jewellery worth Rs 5,670 crore.
